Position Summary:

We are seeking an Inside Sales Specialist for our Choice Waterjet Parts and Jet Edge Parts product lines.

This position is responsible for growing and managing our Choice Waterjet Parts sales and margins and helping with Jet Edge customer service duties as required.

Choice duties include understanding the aftermarket parts and accessories available for key competitive products and assisting customers in the ordering of those components. This role may also assist in identifying supplier options, pricing of parts, and maintaining adequate inventory levels. Knowledge and command of our website, E-commerce sites, CRM system (HubSpot), and ERP system (Infor Cloud Suite Industrial) is expected. Customer Service duties include entering orders and overseeing order processing for both Choice and Jet Edge components of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Choice Aftermarket Sales

  • Prospect, analyze, grow, and maintain customer relationships with new and existing customers to increase Choice sales and margins.
  • Ensure Choice customer orders are entered timely and accurately confirming price, lead times and shipping details as requested.
  • Proactively communicate to customers any changes in order status, coordinating efforts with internal departments for expedited order requests.
  • Perform the point of contact role on warranty requests.
  • Assist the Purchasing department by suggesting stock levels, key suppliers, and product introduction.
  • Review our website and E-commerce sites, suggesting improvements in messaging, technical information, and structure.
  • Analyze Choice pricing relative to our competition and required margins. Propose pricing with volume discounts as appropriate.
  • Manage our CRM Choice customer database to ensure accurate and complete information is recorded.
  • Coordinate the setup of new customers including credit applications, sales tax exemptions, HubSpot contact records, e-commerce setup, etc.
  • Identify equipment needs of Choice customers and forward to our Equipment Sales team for follow up.

Jet Edge Parts Sales

  • Ensure Jet Edge customer orders are entered timely and accurately confirming price, lead times and shipping details as requested.
  • Provide product information to customers to ensure correct parts are ordered at the current price levels.
  • Makes recommendations on order requests based on customer order history.
  • Review customer sales reports and contact customers to increase parts sales volume.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact on estimates and customer order returns for repair and warranty.
  • Expedite urgent order requests as requested.
  • Provide direct access to technical services as required.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in prospecting for and growing a customer base profitably.
  • 2-year degree preferred, or 5+ years related experience in customer service/sales role.
  • Familiarity of different sales techniques.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems with accurate data entry.
  • Ability to perform a high volume of customer/prospect calls and emails.
  • Good product knowledge that provides customer support on ordering.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Facility/office is clean and well-lit.
  • Full time position and must have the ability to work flexible hours and overtime when needed.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit for long periods of time.
  • Frequent keyboard & computer use, occasional filing, some bending and stooping and occasional lifting requirement of up to 25 pounds (with assistance if necessary).

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
